48V Lithium Battery Supplier & Exporter
Buying 48V lithium batteries is different from buying 12V packs. The bank usually sits in a cabinet or rack, has to communicate with a BMS, rectifier or UPS, and is judged on service life rather than sticker price. This page explains what we supply, how we work with importers, and what to check before you place an order.
What a 48V Lithium Battery Supplier Should Provide
- Cell provenance you can verify: the cell maker, model and capacity test report for the batch, not just a certificate for the series.
- A BMS specification, not a BMS claim: continuous and peak current, cut-off voltages, temperature limits, balancing method and communication protocol.
- Test data at a stated condition: capacity at a defined C-rate, internal resistance, and cycle-life test conditions including depth of discharge and temperature.
- Export documentation prepared in advance: UN38.3, MSDS, CE and RoHS files, packing list and commercial invoice that match the shipment.
- Support after the container lands: commissioning guidance, spare BMS or harness availability, and a named contact instead of a shared inbox.
48V LiFePO4 Range We Supply
| Model | Nominal energy | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 48V 50Ah | 2.4 kWh | Small cell sites, CPE, compact backup |
| 48V 100Ah | 4.8 kWh | Macro base stations, industrial backup, small ESS |
| 48V 150Ah | 7.2 kWh | Sites needing longer autonomy or hybrid solar |
| 48V 200Ah | 9.6 kWh | Long-autonomy telecom sites, ESS and off-grid |
Standard and smart BMS versions are available. Smart versions add CAN/RS485 communication and, on selected models, a DC-DC boost for equipment that needs a stable output voltage. Rack, wall-mount and pole-mount enclosures are supplied as separate items or bundled with batteries.
Wholesale, OEM and Export
Most of our 48V volume ships to importers and distributors who resell under their own brand or supply telecom contractors directly. The working model is straightforward:
- OEM/ODM: label, case colour, BMS configuration, packaging and manual can be customised; tooling and artwork requirements are confirmed before the first production run.
- MOQ: depends on the model and whether the order is a repeat configuration — ask for the current MOQ with your target model and quantity.
- Samples: a sample order is the normal way to verify capacity, BMS behaviour and packaging before committing to a container.
- Lead time: stock configurations ship faster than custom BMS or enclosure builds; confirm the schedule in writing with the quotation.
- Shipping: lithium batteries are Class 9 dangerous goods; we prepare UN38.3 and MSDS for the forwarder and can quote FOB or CIF depending on the destination port.
Quality Checks Before Shipment
Every production batch goes through a pre-shipment check that covers:
- Capacity test at the declared C-rate, with the result recorded per unit
- Internal resistance and cell balance after a full charge-discharge cycle
- BMS cut-off, over-current and temperature protection behaviour
- Communication test for RS485/RS232 or CAN versions
- Visual inspection of terminals, seals and labels, plus packaging drop check
The report is available with the shipment. If your project requires a third-party inspection, we can coordinate with the inspection company you nominate.
How to Request a 48V Battery Quote
Send the following and we can quote a configuration rather than a generic price:
- Voltage and capacity per battery, and how many batteries per site or per bank
- Average and peak load, plus the autonomy hours required
- Rack, wall-mount, pole-mount or cabinet installation
- Communication protocol used by the rectifier, UPS or monitoring system
- Destination country and port, plus any documentation the import requires
Frequently asked questions
48V is the system class used by telecom rectifiers and much industrial equipment; 51.2V is the nominal voltage of a 16-cell LiFePO4 pack. A 51.2V pack is often described as a 48V battery because it operates within the same system window. Confirm the charger and rectifier voltage settings before ordering either.
Yes, within the limits set by the BMS and with equal cable lengths so current shares evenly. The number of parallel units, breaker sizing and communication addressing should be confirmed for the specific model before installation.
Yes. Outdoor and indoor cabinets can be supplied with the battery bank, or separately if you already have an enclosure. See the telecom battery cabinet selection guide for the specification points that matter.
UN38.3 test summary, MSDS, CE and RoHS declarations, packing list and commercial invoice. Certificates for the specific cell batch and a capacity test report can be provided on request.
MOQ depends on the model and whether it is a repeat configuration. Send your target model, quantity and destination and we will confirm the current MOQ with the quotation.

Exporting 48V batteries
We ship 48V LiFePO4 packs by sea and air from Shenzhen. Every order includes UN38.3 test reports and an MSDS, and the cartons carry the lithium battery mark. A 20ft container holds about 180 units of the 48V 100Ah model, and production takes 15 to 25 days after deposit.
