Common FAQs
The unit is intended for RRU, AAU, roadside and other distributed telecom sites requiring outdoor 48V backup without a full equipment shelter. Confirm mounting position, load, required backup duration, cable route, environmental exposure and maintenance access before selection.
Runtime depends on the site's actual DC load, usable depth of discharge, system efficiency, temperature, cable losses and aging reserve. Divide usable battery energy by the measured load for an initial estimate, then apply the operator's required engineering margin.
The enclosure measures 298.3 × 170.2 × 311mm and weighs approximately 22.2kg. The pole, bracket, fasteners and mounting height must support the installed load and local wind conditions. Cable strain relief, grounding and safe service access also require review.
The integrated enclosure is specified as IP65 for outdoor protection against dust and water exposure. Installation must still address cable-entry sealing, drainage, orientation, flooding risk, salt spray, corrosion, direct solar load and maintenance practices at the site.
The modular design supports engineered expansion, but parallel operation must be confirmed for the planned quantity. Review battery state of charge, communication, cables, protection, current sharing, mounting arrangement and site controller settings before connecting multiple outdoor units.
RS485 and RS232 ports support integration with compatible dynamic monitoring or site-control systems. Confirm the protocol, connector, register map, telemetry and alarm requirements before ordering because the battery interface must match the network equipment used at the site.
The specified operating temperature is -20°C to 60°C, with relative humidity up to 90% at 40°C ± 2°C and altitude up to 3600m. Site design must also consider solar heat, ventilation, lightning protection, corrosion and local weather conditions.
Documentation for UN38.3, CE, RoHS and FCC review is available, with a 5-year warranty. Confirm destination-market and tender requirements before ordering, and provide the application, mounting environment, quantity, monitoring interface and shipping destination.
